hey this is a recipe for a homemade protein shake i got off the web and havent tried yet..
50g dried skimmed milk powder
500mls fresh milk
Milkshake powder
Mix the dried skimmed milk powder into a smooth paste with 100mls of the milk.
Put all the ingredients into a hand blender and blend until frothy.
An amazing 35gms protein and 99gms carbohydrate energy for just 81 pence!
(sorry for the english pence and measurements)
Here is another one...
First of all you will need a blander. Add one cup of regular, skim or non fat milk, then about 3 table spoons of any kind of ice cream (depends on how you like it). After that add a regular cup of yogurt ( you might want to use the one which contains more protein ). Break one or two eggs, but you should get rid of the yolk before adding it, so you don't get any cholesterol Add banana
( for some extra carbohydrates and taste ). You can also add some strawberries or any kind of fruits or syrup, for preferred taste of the shake. Now, mix it all up, and you are ready to receive your dose of ALL NATURAL, good tasting protein
Total : 24-30 g 113 g 1 g 0 mg 460
and here is a protein bar...
16 ounces Natural peanut butter
8 tablespoons honey
six scoops of Optimum Chocolate whey protein powder
1 cup of uncooked oatmeal
Mix the pb and honey in a bowl, microwave on full for 80 secs. Add the rest and mix together. Can add raisins/nuts etc to taste. Smooth into 13x9 tray and leave for 20 mins. Cut into 10 to 12 equal bars and wrap and store in fridge.
Total for all 10-12 bars
Protein: 254 grams
Carbohydrates: 282 grams
im good at finding dumb stuff on the net, so i will leave it at this until anybody tells me they tried it.
Fats: 236 grams |
