Flex Bodybuilding has training routines and workouts based upon sound scientific research involving strengthening exercises, exercises that have been shown to increase the strength of your muscles, maintain the integrity of your bones, and improve your balance, coordination, and mobility. In addition, training with weights can help reduce the signs and symptoms of many chronic diseases. There is an endless array of programs and theories out there, much of it geared toward bodybuilders and advanced exercisers. If you’re just getting started, it’s quite easy to become totally confused by all of the terms and gym jargon. We’d like to fill in the gap by giving you the foundation of any safe and effective routine. You’ll learn the names of the major muscle groups and the exercises that target them, the difference between sets and reps, the elements of proper form, and the basics of frequency and progression.
