man i was so fat. cutting so much weight sucks! i have some progress here.... just starting my first cutting cycle. hope to look like yall crazy mother fuckers real soon! what do yall think? this took about 9 months worth of work.

x2 its so easy to get discouraged, when the progress slows down, but you got to remember your in it for the long run and to take it one day at a time. |

dude i know what he is going through. it is so rough. my lifting partner probably feels like you because i bitch so much about running after lifting. but he is like 155. he just doenst know! lol |

Highly doubt that, Not with that kind of weight drop. It's more of an illusion because his waist line has gone down soo much. Probably would look pretty dope around 180, he sitting around 14% or so now. But by the end of the cut a significant difference in strength might show.
Anyway all trial and error you typically only gain 5 - 10lbs of muscle per year and odds are he hasn't had many years of training under his belt. Trying to gain 30 - 40lbs in a year like most people is clearly a waist.. Esp because the majority of the weight is water and fat, by the time they cut they are only 5 - 10lbs ahead of where they started.
