|
Hi,
I was wondering if anyone out there knew of a good bodybuilding gym for women in the Nashville area that preferably doesn't have contracts, but where you pay month to month.
Anyone familiar with the area? I'm wanting to change gyms.
Thanks alot

Im originally from Nashville, there's a new gym in Murfreesboro that was suppose to open up on the 1st but they were delayed on getting their permit from the fire marshall or something. But they do monthly payments out of your checking account i believe. And heres the news you might like... they only hire a couple trainers per gym, so you don't have to worry about 15 guys walking around trying to sell you a time slot . ( I was offered the job and had to turn it down since im not there for now ) But anyways, I'd stroll by there and check it out. I here they have state of the art euipment also. A buddy was trying to explain what one machine was... its called the maxtrack i think and basically its supposively a badass new type of smith machine thats more three dimensional and will allow for various more exercises to be performed on it than the original. _________________ Form builds muscle. Thanks Athlete. Do you know the name of this gym? or can you PM me the info if you have it? It looks like I might actually be moving to Murfreesboro..
That sounds like something I'm looking for too - month 2 month and bodybuilding-focused..
Thanks

Give me a day or two and Ill get back to you on that. There's actually two gyms in murfreesboro that are monthly payments. But one is more centered around cardio, being toned, and peace of mind: and the other gym I mentioned is more for bodybuilding/middle aged adults who come in and get out rather than treating it like a singles bar. _________________ Form builds muscle. Hey thanks Athlete. That would be great. I'd be interested in knowing about both gyms if you happen to run across the info. for the cardio/yoga gym also.
I'm into both bodybuilding and cardio/yoga.. (not into the looking-for-a-date type gym though) I guess that it is yoga when you say "peace of mind"? that's what it makes me think of anyway and I really like yoga alot too.. I like to stretch, meditate and like the relaxed feeling it gives me afterwards, almost like I took a tranquilizer or something from listening to the yoga music.. That is good for AFTER bodybuilding.. High-energy music helps me train with weights and sometimes I even find weight-training meditative in a way also.. as I count the reps.. breathing in, controlled breathing out.. It can be meditative for me we well.. Stretching is always good after training too.. I usually save the cardio mainly for separate days except as a short warm-up before training.
Thanks a lot for checking on this info. for me : ) I doubt I could join both gyms, but just in case one isn't open yet, etc.. it would be good to know about both if you can find that info.. I appreciate it : )

Bassplayer, your best bet is going to be Anytime Fitness. Its located on Memorial Blvd. in between the instersections including Northfield and Greenland. Its across the street from Publix and located beside Hasting's and directly behind Mcallister's. _________________ Form builds muscle. Weight builds ego. |
