If you go to a gym they can use a caliper to tell you what your BF% is. The main thing is to have a CLEAN diet and do cardio.
Avoid:
Junk food (cookies, potato chips, candy, etc..) & eat fruit instead
Sodas (drink water)
Fried foods (grill, steam or use the oven)
White bread or white rice (eat brown rice or whole-wheat bread instead)
Things that have processed sugar in them
Consuming too much fat and Trans fat (even if you eat healthy fats like olive oil or peanuts too much is NEVER good for you, especially if you are trying to lean out)
^^^ These are just a few things that will help you with your diet. Also make sure that you don't lower your calories too quickly, otherwise your body will go into starvation mode and you will start storing fat and loosing muscle. Try lowering your calories by 200-300 each week.
As far as cardio goes go for 30-45 minutes 4-5 times a week. Make sure you use a speed that is comfortable and that you will be able to maintain for 30-45 minutes. If you cannot jog or run for that period of time try walking instead. As you progress on your cardio try increasing the speed. |

That sounds OK.
Also:
1. Make sure you eat about 1-1½ hr before you lift.
2. Eat 5-6 SMALL meals per day.
3. You could also do your cardio after you finish lifting. |
