Hey,
I go to the Gym every second day and i work everything, but my main concern is that my upper body isnt getting any bulkier. im 17 and im relly athletic and i can tell the difference from when i dont work out at all but i get to a certain point where i cant get any bigger, and the point im at now im not even big. my pecs get to a certain point and they just stop growing and same with my shoulders and biceps. im a fairly skiiny build naturally and was wondering if that has anything to do with it. anyway my upper body routine is :
Bench press -3 sets, 10 reps , 100lbs.
pec deck - 3 sets 15 reps 62.5 lbs
I dont know what the next one is called but lay on the bed and pretty much do the same movement as on the pec deck. i do 3 sets of 15 with 20lbs in each hand.
then i do :
lat pulldown : 3 sets 15 reps 100lbs
barbells : 3 sets 10 reps 40lbs (plus 45lb bar)
cable pulldowns (for triceps) : 3 sets 15 80lbs.
and thats pretty much my upper body workout. any suggestions you could make would be GREAT thanks. oh and another thing, how important is stretching before and after a workout? |
