Ok, so I've cut out all trans fat from what I eat and now I'm hearing things about carbs. I know they're bad in excess and that they're also essential to give your body energy. My question is, about how many carbs are enough per day taking into account the lifting and cardio. _________________ "Obsession" is a word the weak use for the determined |

A general macronutrion profile I like to stick to is somewhere around 50/30/20, 50% of my calories coming from carbs, 30% from protein, and 20% from fat. As far as cutting goes its important to keep the diet clean obviously but whats most important is the calories. The law of thermodynamics, calories in vs. calories out. Gotta be burning more then you're eating each day to lose weight. |
