Go back and change your genetics......
You can't change your 6 pack into a 8pack unless you have the genetics for it some people have 4 some have 5, 6 and some have 8 your abs depend on your genetics.

abs are abs. It's not genetics. Everyone has the same ab build. As you get older their shape and anatomy change a bit. You've got to DIET to make sure they're standing out (and cardio)...as well as doing lower and upper torso workouts, like leg lifts, flutter kicks, incline situps....stuff like that.

theres not a certain workout for 6 and a certain workout for 8.... depending on ur body fat % is if ur goin to see 6 or 8.....the only way to get ur % down is to eat right, work out the abs and do a shitload of cardio

Yes there is. Most people don't do leg raises, or lower ab workouts, because they tend to make the waste measurement slightly higher. Not doign those will keep your lower 2 ab muscles untrained, and wont show through nearly as much as the others.

Hey yosemite,
Abs are like any other muscle group. They need to recover to grow. Give them at least 24-48 hours to rest, repair and grow from your ab workouts. Also, always make sure to mix up your ab training.
Here are some great abs routines and workouts to keep your training new and exciting:

Best of luck!

Its always genetics just look at bodybuilders in magazines...they all work hard but the difference is genetics...butts are butts however, some women like j-lo butt will be bigger no matter what other ladies will do...of course if they try then they wont have flat abs to go with thier booty so genetics is a big part of whether you get an 8pack or not... Now as for exercises...cardio what ever you like theirs no end all and diet like hell.

Hello. am here to say that eight pack arent also about genetics... I almost got them myself... my lower ab was splitting into fourth row... so I thought I shouldn't work out so I dont ruin it... besides it's winter i thought! I was WRONG!! I lost them!!! Am working my way on getting them again... you have to work hard for them... in 8 weeks or more you ll' see a change!! Do abs. crunches... evreything you can think of... each 2 weeks increase the number of repetitions! my friend mike started with six pack starting from an ebook found online, don't think that it came for itself, you have to do lot's of work on the last two, but i recommend you to start with six, and then go for eight.
Good luck!
