First time posting here, I've been working out for a little over a year, and have been taking 2 scoops of isopure protien (50g of protein) after every workout. Guy at GNC recommended I try this MHP Dark Matter, I notice it only has 12g of protien, but has a "600% Increase in Protein Synthesis-Equal to 40 Grams of Protein". I'm curious, since I eat alot during the day to keep my protein intake up, Is this a better product to use than the isopure. |

I honestly have no idea mate but i bet it costs way too much for its purpose.
If your rich and have the money to spend then get it but if not buy some unflavoured protein. _________________ My ''NEW'' forum:

When I hear companies say that dumb crap about "gain 10 pounds of muscle in a week", or "29999% increase in protein synthesis" that crap is so over rated and just plain fraud really. There should be a huge crackdown on supp companies and put the fakes out of business in my opinion. |

I was at nutrition Fx and some guy tried to sell me some plasma jet for 70 dollars, said it was the best no2 product currently, i happily declined.
Heres a hint, dont take advice from sales people. |

Cardio improves your cardiovascular health, and resistance training helps you accrete lean muscle mass. More muscle mass means a toned and well-defined physique. It means protection against injury. It means a faster metabolism. When you resistance train, however, you are actually causing micro trauma to your muscle cells. They are being damaged. A flood of lactic acid builds up, "exhaust" from the muscle engine, causing a "burn". Blood rushes to provide nutrients and carry away the exhaust, and you feel a "pump". A few days later, remnants of the destruction that you caused, such as hydroxyproline acid (an amino acid) cause DOMS - delayed onset muscle soreness. |

"600% Increase in Protein Synthesis-Equal to 40 Grams of Protein".
That sounds like supplement company BS to me. Most of your protein should come from food. A couple of protein shakes per day can help to make sure you get enough, but that's all they do. _________________ Kevin
