So im a wrestler and I wanna gain some weight and power. I have been working out for roughly 5 months and went from 105 to 155-160, and I hit a plateau. I was contemplating taking NO Xplode, but I need a good workout, can someone supply me with one? I was originally doing something like this:
max bench: 150
80 x10, 95 x8, 105 x6, 125 x4, 135 x2
it was close to this, can someone help? Thanksss! _________________ 145 Bench, 235 Sqaut, weight as of 3/25/09: 115 lbs. |

Mix up everything you do. If your using a bar, switch to DB's. Change up rep order. If your explosive with the weight, slow it down and control the weight through full range of motion, change grip, change everything! _________________ ACE, ACSM, NSCA, NASM, IFPA, ISSA - CPT

The important thing to do is listen to your body and understand what works for you and what doesnt. Complex movements involving your core will help increase your overall strength. Deadlifts, Squat, Benchpress, and powercleans are a great way to build a good base. Whats your weekly workout plan look like. At your age you probably want to take it slow and work your way into more challenging routines. Remember you have years of work and research to understand bodybuilding and strength training.
Remember nutrition and rest is the absolute most important thing in weight training. Make sure your consuming roughly 1.5 g of protein per pound of bodyweight. That means 180 grams or more should do. Lookup good eating habits on the forum and youll do fine. Keep us posted _________________ Semper Fi |

I'm gona be a bollox now as i usually do, but this is not 100% correct!!!
Now ravenkin is not wrong by saying this but im just gonna tell you that some people actually gain pretty well with less than that, i know a pro that makes good gains with 1g of protein per lb of bodyweight and would not go higher with the intake!!
I know that 80-90% of the time you do need at least 1.5g per lb of weight but that 10-20% of the population is many millions of people.
I don't say this to correct people or to prove people wrong, but to be honest, one of my reasonings is to educate people that there are differences in this sport and 99% of the time it's individual/different/freaks that become bodybuilding/strongman champions NOT the guys that do what the books tell them to do.
I'm 22 and i can garuntee that 90% of people my age dont know about all the peptides hormones and other chemicals that can be use to increase muscle mass.
How many of you know what igf-1, HGH, HGH Frag, HCG or even Insulin is, let alone how to use it and at what dose to use it at and what actually happens in the body when it's used.
Please dont think that i'm being a dick here, and acing like a Mr. Know it all, because the fact is, if i'm completely honest, i still dont know at least 60% of what is needed to be 100% knowledgeble.
I might be teaching some of the guys on this forum but i wasnt born with the knowledge.
For example!!!!!
Look at my start date on here, look at my first 100 posts.
Now does that sound like the person that is talking now??
It takes a very short time to learn something that you want to learn.
I was ready to start a cycle when i joined up here , (or so i thought).
I still havent run one yet, ye thats right ''Nowler Hasn't used gear yet.''
After all the advice he has given us, ''he hasnt run gear'', ''what does he know then??''
I spent the time since i joined till now researching on EVERYTHING, And i mean EVERYTHING i could think of!!!
I am now ready to start gear with the utmost respect for it and my body and i can bet that i hold more weight after it than most of you, ''why?'' 1 reason of many, i know what to use to help in the process.
(I dont know everything, i still have guru's that i look to for advice, the only thing that seperates me from the newbies is''i'm ready to really listen to what people say and research it myself''.
I came on here way back when thinking that i was ready for juice but it was maxpower, teamdime but mainly jstrong that stopped me and to this day i owe them.
Some of the guys on here have an attitude problem but it's something that can be fixed, but that doesnt mean they dont know what their talking about, we have max and athlete on here that are qualified Personal trainers so that definitly add to the forum benifets.
If i had jumped on a newbie bulk cycle like d-bol and test E i would have gained 25-30lbs ONLY if my diet and lifting was in order.
Even if these things were in order i would hav gained 25-30lbs BUT the thing when it comes to juice is not how much you gain but rather how much you keep.
Gaining 30lbs and keeping 20 is the same as gaining 25 and keeping 20 (Almost im not going to get technical with you)
The key for juicing up is not to eat and lift to the best standard but rather to know what you doing.
Know what your injecting into your body, know exactly what it stimulates your body into growth and what feels good but is actually hindering your gains.
If you have a doubt!!!!! ASK!!!!!
PLEASE!!
You can pm me on here or you can find me on my board.
Dont pm me if it's normal stuff that can be posted on an open board as we need to educate others
Thank you for reading this and i'm gonna ask tomcat to make me a sticky to nail to the top of one of 2 forums, so you guys can learn.
Any Q's, Please ask!! _________________ M.P.C Sports Specialist(Sports Hypnotist), N.C.E.F Gym Instructor, Lifeguard, Assistant Swim Teacher, 1st Aider.
